Overview of research initiatives

At Let Ideas Run, our mission extends beyond movement and physical activity. We aim to build a global ecosystem that promotes both brain and body health through science, education, innovation, and community engagement.

Our research initiatives are designed to support meaningful scientific work while making research more visible, accessible, and understandable to the broader public.

Preventative Research & Human Performance Optimization

This initiative focuses on prevention, resilience, and the optimization of human performance. Athletes and physically active individuals represent our primary target population, serving not only as users of the platform, but also as ambassadors of healthier lifestyles and science-driven innovation.

We support research projects in areas including:

Inspired by the principle that small, consistent inputs create compounding long-term outcomes, Atomic Research Infrastructure focuses on the micro-level resources that are essential for scientific execution, yet frequently overlooked by conventional funding systems.

What is β€œAtomic Research Infrastructure”?

They include:

  • biological reagents and laboratory consumables,

  • participant compensation and travel support,

  • software subscriptions and licensed analytical tools,

  • equipment maintenance and small upgrades,

  • data storage and computational resources,

  • books, educational materials, and scientific literature,

  • prototype materials and testing components,

  • open-source development support,

  • publication-related expenses,

  • replication studies,

  • and other practical research necessities that frequently fall outside traditional funding structures.

In many research environments, these costs are either paid personally by researchers, delayed by administrative bureaucracy, or simply remain unfunded despite directly affecting scientific productivity and quality.

Research for disorders and diseases

Our second initiative focuses on supporting research related to medical disorders, neurological conditions, mental health, and chronic diseases.

A key component of this initiative is collaboration with scientific congresses and conferences through our β€œLet Ideas Run Walking Breaks.” During these events, conference attendees participate in guided walks through the host city, and their collective steps directly contribute to fundraising efforts for research related to the conference topic.

This approach combines movement, networking, public engagement, and fundraising into a unique scientific outreach experience.

We support research projects in areas including:

Building a Global Research Ecosystem

Beyond funding, Let Ideas Run aims to create a collaborative ecosystem where:

  • Researchers and laboratories can connect with industry partners

  • Organizations can discover innovative scientific projects

  • Companies offering research equipment or services can support laboratories directly

  • Science becomes more accessible to the public

Sponsors and partners will be actively promoted through

  • The Let Ideas Run platform and mobile application

  • Social media campaigns

  • Community events and conference collaborations

  • Research initiative highlights and public engagement campaigns

Promoting Scientific Literacy

Through our platform, educational content, partnerships, and public initiatives, we aim to:

  • Make research more accessible and understandable

  • Humanize scientists and the research process

  • Increase transparency around how science evolves

  • Encourage evidence-based thinking

  • Promote responsible communication of scientific findings

  • Help the public understand the value of foundational and preventative research

We believe that improving trust in science begins with helping people better understand the process behind it.

Science moves at the speed of support.
